Books are the lost wonders of the world. They have a curious way of bringing people together. They can make a reader feel like things are good, even when they aren't. Books can frighten the reader, and leave them with lingering nightmares. Although silent, they can be the loudest voice, telling us the one thing we need to hear the most. They help readers connect and be a part of something larger. When reality is feeling too real, they provide an escape. Books reduce stress, stimulate the brain, and can improve focus and memory skills. Readers all have different reasons for picking up a book, but there is no denying that books are truly the lost wonders of the world.
Other publishing companies continually overlook authors who write non-CIS characters. At Lost Wonders, we believe every person has the right to write and read books they can actually relate to. We strive to assist authors with our strict inclusivity policy.
Lost Wonders is happy to publish works that contain: all races, LGBTIQA+ characters, interracial couples, couples of same sex, gender-neutral characters, and characters with disabilities. If you feel like we left something off this list, please let us know! We are always looking to grow and do better!
The front of each envelope lists either the name or number of a chapter from the book. Open the envelopes only when you reach that chapter in the story. Each envelope contains an item that correlates to what’s happening in the story at that time. Read along while you open the Reading Kit for an interactive reading experience and enjoy the story WITH the characters!
Kits include 3-5 envelopes created by the book’s author. But don’t open the envelopes as soon as you get your package!
